This Philippine plant started way back since 1988 under Tire and Tube Division of Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. of Japan. It exported 90% of its bicycle tire and tube production to Japan, USA and Europe, In 2005, the company was localized and renamed to MBPStar Coporation. Even without Japanese technical assistance. MBPStar continued the Japanese Technology and constant focus on strict quality mindset
